VERENA KING

President


Verena King is the founder and president of Verena King Public Relations. She is originally from the San Fernando Valley in sunny California and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1995. She began her media career in radio while in college and worked with Clear Channel Radio for more than 7 years. After venturing into in-house and agency public relations, King opened her own public relations business and expanded to Los Angeles.


Working within media and public relations for more than 17 years, King has worked with and promoted high profile celebrities and entertainers on a local, regional, and national level. She specializes in strategic campaign building and successfully garnering local and national media attention for up-and-coming talent.

 

In regard to online marketing, King has a remarkable talent for engaging relevant audiences via social media networks with use of a corporate social media management philosophy of listening, analyzing, and relationship building.

 

King has had the pleasure of promoting such talents as international artist Peter Max, burlesque artist Dita Von Teese, Ross Bagdasarian, Jr.'s Alvin and the Chipmunks, Golden Globe winner and Academy Award nominated actress Laura Dern (Jurassic Park, The Fault in Our Stars), Golden Globe nominated actress Maria Bello (A History of Violence), actors Josh Duhamel (Transformers), Thomas Everett Scott (That Thing You Do!) and Lucas Till (X-men: First Class), best-selling author and award-winning actor Rob Lowe (The West Wing), veteran actor and singer Robert Davi (The Goonies, Die Hard), veteran Broadway performer Rick Faugno (Jersey Boys), LA Opera orchestrator Dan Redfeld, and filmmakers Frederic Lumiere (History Channel's WWII in HD), Danny Rodriguez (Bravetown) and Trevor Crafts (Bruce Boxleitner's Lantern City).
